1. Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a water-based, exfoliating toner formulated with 7% glycolic acid, a proven alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that effectively exfoliates the skin.

2. It helps to remove dead skin cells, revealing a smoother, more even texture.

3. Regular use of this glycolic acid toner promotes the appearance of more luminous and radiant skin while reducing the visibility of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

4. This formulation also features a Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, a plant extract that helps soothe the skin and reduce irritation commonly associated with exfoliation, making it suitable for frequent use.

5. The presence of this natural ingredient may cause seasonal colour variation in the formula.

6. With a carefully calibrated pH of approximately 3.6, the toner has an optimal balance between salt and acidity.

7. This multi-functional toner is not only effective on the face, but can also be applied to the scalp to help rebalance, hydrate, and reduce dryness. 8. This formulation should not be used on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin.

9. For best results, it is recommended to follow sun protection guidance due to increased skin sensitivity to sunlight after use.

  • - With 7% glycolic acid, amino acids, aloe vera, ginseng and tasmanian pepperberry.

    - Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin.

    - This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity.

    - The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture with continued use.

    - This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative.

    - This derivative is of plant origin and varies in colour seasonally and this colour variation may be apparent in the formula from time to time.

    - The formula is further supported with inclusion of ginseng root and aloe vera for both visible radiance and skin soothing benefits.

Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin.

    - Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided directions.

    - This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa implies acid availability.

    - When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.

    - Higher pH numbers in such a case would increase salt which counter-intuitively would make the formula even more irritating than if the formula was more acidic.

    TIP:

    - To maximize the benefits of glycolic acid, consider incorporating the toner into your evening routine, and always follow with an SPF product during the day.

    - Apply this product to exfoliate small areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin.

  • 1. Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day.

    2. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across face and neck.

    3. Do not use on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.

    4. Do not rinse off.

    5. Continue with additional skin treatments as needed.

    6. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.

    7. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician.

    8. Use only as directed on unbroken skin.

    9. Patch testing prior to use is advised.

    10. Keep out of reach of children.

    Sunburn Alert:

    - This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.
